Sustainability

Do you know what sustainability means?It means for the world to keep on going and provide us with food,water and air. For inquiry today we learnt how to  sustain  our earth. It's because our earth wasn't provide us with what we needed.We used  a balloon to be our earth if you a sustaining the earth the balloon gets smaller if your not it gets bigger until it pops.Mine kept going smaller because I wasn't wasting energy,water and I'm not using gas and oil.

Stay Up Late

For writing yesterday we have been writing about persuasive arguments.Do you know what persuasive arguments is?It's when you are trying to convince somebody about something .we had to choose between three things we wanted I chose to Stay Up Late.

The Great Stink.

Blurb:
Did you know that people were dying cause they were drinking dirty water ?For reading this week we have been been learning about the Great Stink. In London 8th June 1858  it started from the bottom of the ground then it started coming up and busted up the floors. And people were getting sick they were drinking dirty water. 

Sustainability

For inquiry today I learnt about what it means to be sustainable . A small change I can make to be more sustainable is to  stop wasting plastic bags.

Christmas traditions

We are learning about Christmas traditions around the world .I learned how to say Happy Christmas in different languages.We learned how to say it in Chinese,danish,Finnish,German,Greek and more but i really liked mexican.

“Hugh” “so tired can we go back” said my sister relievingly

One foggy Saturday morning my family and I went for a run. After the  run we came back home so we could eat when we finished eating we went to the park so we could have fun because we were bored.

We woke up early to train cause we all  agreed we were all getting fat so we needed to train . It was really early in the morning it was really foggy we wanted to eat before we went but we didn't.

So we changed  our clothes so we could go we stepped outside we felt really cold. So after everyone was out we ran across the park and we ran the long way home we went back home and ate.

So after all that we were all exhausted from running and playing so we went back home and watched a very very very long movie. While we were watching the movie mom said we needed to do this again tomorrow so we stopped the movie and went to sleep.

WALT:For the past two weeks we have been making our own kites like this one beside you it took to long to make but it was worth it it was really fun making it . I finished it just today it's easy to make the bow you can't see it really clearly.

Today we have been learning

9.5-10.5 Maori technology kites.

For literacy we have been reading two stories and answering the questions from the book.I found the questions really challenging because I couldn't understand the Maori words but we still answered the ones that we could understand.But the teacher helped us with the ones we couldn't  understand then we finished it in time.

For literacy we have been writing about a long story called KITE EATING TREE it was the longest story I have ever written about. I found it really easy to come up with vocabulary and idea's.

Being Responsible With Chromebooks.

In Cybersmart I have been learning about being responsible with chromebooks .
-first we put or prior knowledge on a padlet .Then we buddied up and created a(poster or infographic) about being responsible with chromebooks.

-I found it hard when I started the poster but my buddy helped me.
